This is something we genuinely did not see coming. After months of quietly building, fixing, and improving every part of our website, the LK Domain Registry reached out with news we will not forget.
And that genuinely means a lot to everyone on this team.
We have to be honest with you. We did not build rasapadhama.lk chasing awards or trophies. We built it because we genuinely believe Sri Lanka’s most authentic food deserved a proper home on the internet. A place where you could find real spices, real condiments and real pantry staples, all sourced the honest way, with no artificial preservatives and no corners cut.
So when the official email landed in our inbox confirming that rasapadhama.lk had been named a TopWeb.LK winner for May 2026, it was one of those moments that stops you for a second. The kind that quietly tells you that the work was worth it.

For those who are not familiar with it, TopWeb.LK is a monthly awards program run by the LK Domain Registry, which is the national body that manages Sri Lanka’s “.lk” domain infrastructure. Every month, local websites are put through an independent, multi layer evaluation covering everything from website speed and security to content quality and mobile experience. It is not a popularity vote. You cannot campaign your way through it. Either your website meets the standard or it does not.
What judges evaluated: TopWeb.LK assesses every applicant across six core pillars. Earning the badge means rasapadhama.lk performed to the required standard across all of them:

Security
rasapadhama.lk runs on a fully secured HTTPS environment with WAF protection and regular vulnerability scanning in place. The site passed clean with zero malware flags and no injection risks detected across the full external audit.

Design

Clean HTML, dynamic content that actually works, and a codebase built to modern web standards. The platform is maintained and developed by the team at IdeaGeek and it showed in the technical review.

On top of the win itself, the TopWeb.LK badge also means rasapadhama.lk is now officially shortlisted for BestWeb.LK 2026. That is Sri Lanka’s only dedicated national web competition, now running for the sixteenth year in a row, where a panel of ICT professionals, academics and industry leaders will judge the country’s best websites across 24 categories. We will be competing in the e-Commerce / Food and Beverage space and Now we are already looking forward to it.
But more than any competition ahead, what this moment really means to us is simple. It is a thank you to every single person who has ordered from us, shared our website, told a friend about Rasa Padhama or just trusted us to show up in your kitchen. You are the reason we keep getting better.
